Terms of use

Plain terms for a small business. If something here is unclear, ask and we will tell you straight.

What you are buying

A self-guided mystery game, played on your own phone, at a real place. You buy the game once and the whole group plays together on one purchase — there is no per-person charge and no minimum.

You are buying access to the game, not a guided tour, a ticket, or entry to anything. Nobody meets you. There is no booking slot: you start whenever you arrive.

How long your link lasts

Your game link works for 30 days from the moment you buy it. Within that window you can start, stop and come back as often as you like, on as many phones as your group needs.

How far you have got is saved on the phone you are playing on, so if you clear your browser data or switch phones mid-game you may need to open the original link again.

Playing outdoors is your own risk

These games are played outside, on public streets and paths, at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and for anyone you bring, including children.

Watch for traffic. Do not step into a road, climb on anything, or enter an area that is closed. Follow the rules of the park or city you are in, and anything a ranger or member of staff tells you.

No puzzle ever requires you to touch, move, climb or disturb anything. If solving a clue seems to require that, you have misread it — stop and get in touch.

Places change

Our stops are real markers, tablets, statues and buildings that we do not own or control. They get closed for repair, fenced off for events, or removed altogether.

We keep the games current and build in a way around closures where we can. If a stop has become unreachable, tell us — that is useful to us and we will make it right with you.

Park opening hours, parking charges and any admission the site itself charges are set by whoever runs that place, not by us. Our games do not require you to buy admission to anything.

The puzzles stay ours

The riddles, routes, text and artwork are ours. Play them, enjoy them, tell your friends about them. Please do not republish the puzzles or their answers, resell access, or use the content to build a competing game.

Sharing your own link with whoever is playing alongside you is exactly what it is for.

If you booked through Viator

Bookings made on Viator are governed by Viator’s terms and its cancellation policy, not by this page. For a change or a refund on a Viator booking, go to Viator. We cannot refund a payment we did not take.
